Terms of Service
Rules for using the ZSchool4u website, school portal, and Android application.

1. Agreement
By accessing or using ZSchool4u (website, web portal, or Android app), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Schools that create accounts for staff, students, and parents must ensure those users are informed of these terms.
2. Service description
ZSchool4u provides school management features that may include attendance, fees, academics, messaging, notifications, downloads, and related tools. Features vary by subscription plan, school configuration, and user role. We may modify, add, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Eligibility & accounts
• Accounts are generally provisioned by school administrators or platform operators. • You must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. • You must not share OTPs or bypass security controls. • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or are inactive as agreed with the school.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes • Access data or accounts without authorization • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service • Upload malware, infringing content, or illegal material • Misrepresent identity or school affiliation • Use the service to send unsolicited spam outside school-authorized messaging
5. School data & responsibility
Schools retain ownership of institutional data they submit (student records, staff data, attendance, fees, academics). Schools are responsible for lawful collection and use of that data, parental/employee notices and consents, accuracy of records, and decisions made using the platform. ZSchool4u is a software tool; schools remain responsible for educational, disciplinary, and financial decisions.
6. Fees, subscriptions & refunds
School subscriptions and commercial terms are as agreed in the applicable order form, invoice, or written agreement. Consumer/school refund and cancellation rules are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy (/refund).
7. Intellectual property
The ZSchool4u software, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by ZSchool4u and its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your school's authorized purposes during an active subscription. You may not copy, resell, or sublicense the platform except as expressly permitted in writing.
8. Third-party services
The service may integrate with third-party SMS gateways, email providers, payment or hosting providers, and device vendors. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages outside our reasonable control.
9. Availability & disclaimers
We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZSchool4u is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where disclaimer is allowed.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZSchool4u and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability relating to the service is limited to the fees paid by the relevant school to us for the service in the three (3) months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (e.g. proven wilful misconduct).
11. Indemnity
Schools and users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZSchool4u from claims arising from unlawful use of the service, inaccurate school data, failure to obtain required consents, or violation of these terms, except to the extent caused by our proven wilful misconduct.
12. Termination
Access may end when a subscription ends, when the school disables an account, or upon material breach. Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
13. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections. Prefer resolving issues via support@zschool4u.com or the Grievance Officer (/grievance) before formal proceedings.
